About the National Potomac Yacht Club

The National Potomac Yacht Club, also known as NPYC, is the biggest and most active Yacht Club on the Potomac River. Our history goes back to 1963 to the very first flag raising. Since then the club has grown to almost 200 members with several events each month, year-round. Join us!

As a member you don't just join an active boating community, but you gain a family of new friends. Our members are active and have formed very strong friendships for years to come. We treat our members like family and take great care of the club for all to enjoy.

Location

The National Potomac Yacht Club considers Columbia Island Marina its home.  Located near the Lyndon B. Johnson Memorial Grove on the Pentagon Lagoon on the Virginia side of the river, the marina is just one and a half miles north of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on the George Washington Memorial Parkway in metropolitan Washington, DC. For more information about the marina, amenities, slip rates, Island Time Bar & Grill and upcoming events, visit the Columbia Island Marina website.
