Cost for the Event:
Golfers - $200 pp– teams of four will be matched. Green Fees, cart, beer cart, pool, brunch, cocktail hour, dinner included
Non-Golfers - $130 pp– enjoy the pool and relax while others are playing golf. Pool, brunch, cocktail hour, dinner included.
Friday Night Dock BBQ– For those arriving by boat we will host a pot luck dinner on the dock. NPYC will provide the main dish/BBQ. Others are encouraged to bring a dish to share. Dinner will start at sunset and go into the night.
Brunch – Saturday 10:30 am at the Swan Point Clubhouse back patio. If arriving by car, park at the club house. Registration and brunch will be held on the back patio. Golfers and non-golfers will recieve their goody bags at this time.
Driving Range– After brunch and before the tournament begins golfers are welcome to use the driving range located near the club house entrance. Just be sure to be ready for the tournament by the pro shop at 11:45 am.
Registration Golfers will make their way to the Clubhouse back patio to register at the table. You’ll pick up your golf bag, receive your starting hole assignment and then enjoy brunch on the patio. Mulligans and string be available for purchase. (10:30 am - 11:45 am)
Golf Tournament– After brunch Golfers will make their way to their golf carts in front of the pro shop. Here the golf pro will review the rules of the tournament and provide further instruction. Then golfers make their way to their starting hole assignment. (11:45 am - 5:00 pm)
Non-Golfers– After brunch non-golfers can continue to enjoy the sights from a rocking chair on the patio, or can get a golf cart to follow their fellow golfers, or can take a cart down to the pool and enjoy the views and water, or they can go back to the dock and enjoy time on their boat.
Beer Cart– There will be a beer cart following the tournament players. Tipping is encouraged. Beer, soda and water are free. Wine and liquor are available for purchase. There is a beverage station half way through the course where drinks are also available.
Conclusion of Play– when golfers are finished playing they need to make their way to the clubhouse to turn in game cards and enjoy the cocktail hour (6pm). Locker room and showers are available. Dinner will start at 7:00 pm.
Cocktail Hour– Cocktail hour will start at 6:00 pm. All drinks are included. Location is at the Clubhouse.
Dinner & Auction - Dinner will start at 7:00 pm. Entrée selections need to be included in your registration – steak, chicken or vegetarian. A live auction will start shortly after dinner, along with an awards ceremony. Bring your checkbook! This is a fund RAISER event. We need everyone’s support. In addition to the live auction, we will have a silent auction, other fun activities and a 50/50 pot (you can buy raffle tickets to win half the pot raised). Drawing will happen at dinner.
Awards & Prizes:
Best Team– The winning team will be awarded a cash prize and certificate.
Longest Drive Men/Women– On hole #6 the man with the longest drive will be awarded a prize and certificate. The woman with the longest drive on hole #5 will be awarded a prize and certificate. This contest is based on the honor system. A marker will be place on each hole on the fairway. When you play that hole, look for the marker. If your ball lands past the marker write your name on the sheet provided on the marker, then place the marker at the distance where your ball landed on the fairway. Only balls landing on the fairway are eligible.
Closest to the Pin– On hole #3 golfers have the opportunity to be awarded a prize and certificate for closest to the pin. This is also on the honor system.
