About the Event Location:

We will be in the Jefferson room on the 15th floor. Valet parking is available for a fee at the hotel entrance. Elevators from the garage will take you to the main lobby. Then you will take a differnt elevator to the 15th floor.

There is access to a balcony off of the Jefferson room. There you can smoke and enjoy the views. There is plenty of space for all and if warm enough we might have a bar out there. Restrooms are located jsut by the elevator ont he 15th floor.

Welcome to the biggest and most active Yacht Club on the Potomac River! Our history goes back 50+ years to the first flag raising in 1963. Since then the club has grown to almost 200 members with several events each month. Join us!

As a member you don't just join an active boating community, but you gain a family of new friends. Our members are active and have formed very strong friendships for years to come. We treat our members like family and take great care of the club for all to enjoy.

NPYC Mission:

  • To grow a membership composed of like-minded boating enthusiasts of good character and of all ages;
  • To promote and encourage yachting and boating by providing our members and guests with social events, cruises, and related activities;
  • To promote and encourage fellowship, friendship and camaraderie among our members and guests;
  • To provide access to yachting and boating safety instruction, educational programs, and other resources;
  • To function as a non-profit organization with a cost structure that enables fulfillment of this Mission and promote and support various local charities and community events.
